I’ve been in the trenches, planning and executing corporate meetings, trade shows, and events for more than ten years. Previously, I was part of a small, dedicated team tasked with handling well over 100 events each year. As you know, managing the execution of the event is only one part of the process. Making sure everyone attending the event has travel itineraries, confirmation numbers, contact information, and other critical information is the other part. What I quickly realized was how disjointed this whole process was. Inevitably, important emails got buried or missed, connections got crossed, and planners and travelers alike were left frustrated. There had to be a better way.
I had a vision for creating a central place, a one-of-a-kind event planning app, where planners could upload information, bring together previously disparate systems, and provide internal teams with mobile access. At first, I thought an event planning software that companies could use to decrease wasted time, clearly visualize the cost and value of events, and create higher productivity among busy travelers might simply be a dream.
Then I was introduced to Nathan Aaron, a technology expert at our company. We worked together to determine if my vision was actually plausible. He believed it was—so we pulled together a team of experts and together we made WorkTrip a reality.
WorkTrip was created to lessen the pains associated with planning, executing, and traveling to Corporate events. WorkTrip makes it easy.
As we've built the WorkTrip team it's been important to look for people that share our vision and passion for
