Making Events Easier with Integrated Task Management

Ask any event planner… Task management is likely one of the most time-consuming and frustrating things they do. When it comes to planning any event, there are a number of tasks that need to be managed. There is a task-list for the venue, a task-list for food, a task-list for shipping, a task-list for attendees . . . The list of possible task-lists goes on and on. Having to log in and out of multiple applications to manage those tasks, along with all the other event details, simply makes it harder than it needs to be.

With that in mind, we now offer full task management capabilities, integrated directly into WorkTrip. Event planners can now manage travel details, event communications, custom registration, tasks and so much more using a single, integrated event technology platform. As WorkTrip co-founder Nathan Aaron has discussed before, event planners are frustrated trying to use tools not built with them in mind, and with using siloed “event technology” tools that lack a common interface or simply don’t work together. In response, WorkTrip is committed to delivering a one-stop shop for event planners, offering them a more efficient and streamlined way to do their job.

We are also committed to making events easier for all WorkTrip users, which is why for organizations using the task management feature, individual users may create their own tasks. This is especially helpful to customers whose sales teams actively use WorkTrip, allowing individual reps to not only create their own tasks, but for sales managers and/or admins to create tasks for the entire team.

Tasks can be personal or can be assigned to an event. They can be shared with others, and can include due dates with reminders. Users can even attach documents and post comments for each task.

Event planners and other WorkTrip users also have the ability to create task templates, allowing them to reuse tasks for multiple events. In addition, they can leverage task filters, allowing them to sort tasks by Type, Priority or Template.
